Since its earliest
days the
Internet has been called the Information Highway, and the metaphor is
apt. As the common resource of most of the world's information
infrastructures, its critical components must be made safe from
intrusion; only duly licensed and reliably identified roadway engineers
should be allowed to touch the controls of this critical public
information infrastructure.
The mission of the
Online
Highway Safety Association is to advocate for the adoption of standards
of professional licensing and reliable identity credentials of all
those who are permitted to access the critical controls of the Internet.
Membership is open
to all who share our concern. Learn
